Naaaay All, Charlie here!
How ya doin!!
I thought it wuz time that I finally had a turn at this blog thing. Do you know how my weekend went - well let me tell you . . . I really do love R Mommy-Marlene & I look out fur her & me on the trail. I think we are a pretty good team. It felt so good to get away frum going around in circles in the dusty, indoor arena! On Saturday we started out in the Park (my usual place is behind my bro-Bud). That wuz OK, but I carried my mommy fur 2-1/2 long hrs. Oh My Horse, this boy is soooo out of shape! I wuz puffing just goin up a hill & I don't even smoke, hee hee!! Got back to the barn & mommy rubbed me (she knows just the right places where I luv to get rubs & scratchies) & cleaned me up & Bud & I got R carrots & apples. Then, Sunday morning comes along & guess what - yep you got it - mommy takes me out of my stall leaving behind a nice pile of hay that I hadn't finished eating to get my saddle back on me & away we went - for 2-1/2 hrs. again! Definitely, this horse has to get his flabby butt back in shape, yep yep!!! Bud & I had company on the trail wif R sister Jody & her Mommy-Nancy, & Magic wif his Daddy-Vince. We all took care of R riders even when some of the footing wuz a little bit slippy wif mud. What wuz really great wuz when we got back to the barn to see my Mommy-Marlene wif a big grin on her face & know that every step I took on the trail wuz worth it just to make her happy - CUZ SHE'S A COWGIRL, YEP SHE IS!!!!
Til we talk again,

It's so nice that you took such good care of your mommie. You are a special friend. I am sure she loved feeding you the carrots and apples and especially those special scratches on all the right spots. A good scratch makes all the work worth it, right? Us working folk like to get the reward after all that hard stuff.
Two paws up!

Nice to hear from you Charlie!! You might be the very first horse I know!!
Now that summer is coming, I guess you'll be getting a lot more workouts! I hope you also get lots of apples, or whatever your favorite treat is.

Mom says you and Logan are cut from the same cloth...whatever that means. You don't look like you're made of fabric. Logan takes good care of our girl too. We like that about you guys! Mom says you're very handsome too. Are you blowing your coat too? You can see Logan doing his Siberian Coat Blowout on my blog. Who knew?!
