Joel & I went out to the barn for an early ride before all of the picnicers & hordes of people came out to South Park on a holiday. Actually, this was the first ride on a July 4th that we have ever enjoyed. The horses weren't even spooky. No one threw a firecracker at us from a car to just see what the horses would do. Dogs didn't chase us. Bikers respected us with the horses & vice versa. Even people in the vehicles on the main roads didn't rush us as we crossed in front of them. That is the way it should be - everyone who uses the Park to respect each other! Unfortunately, that is always not the case. Any time is a good time with Charlie! I love the freedom of being on his back & him taking me places.
